the recordings on this website. This new archive of recordings by Bhai
Nirmal SInghis representative of the kinds of Kirtan that we are trying
to preserve and propagate. As you know Gurmat Sangeet Project has absolutely
no source of funding. In order to keep this effort going your support
is needed urgently.
During the 2004 Sikh Day
Parade in New York City, the Gurmat Sangeet project distributed 1000 Free
CDs in order to promote traditional Gurmat Sangeet and will be distributing
an additional 2000 free Cds to Sangats worldwide. If you have found this
effort to be useful and have enjoyed the Kirtan recordings hosted on this
website, please contribute whatever you can to this effort. Your contribution
will directly help in the propagation of traditional Gurmat Sangeet.
